(See pictures below) This sign is new, and made of Double Tempered Sign Board, decorated with a Silk Screen Process Wood verses sign board I have chosen craftsmen who use sign board over those who make signs out of wood. Wood may warp, crack, bleed and or fade colors over a long period of time, tempered sign board is more stable and holds color longer. Instructions for indoor or outdoor use come with the sign. Welcome to Uncle Jack's Hex Sign Clock Collections. HEXC1 IRISH This most popular hex symbols is the Dutch Irish, a traditional Irish good luck sign. The design contains a large green shamrock surrounded by 2 Distelfinks signifying a double measure of good fortune. A red heart for love, Trinity tulips for faith, hope, and charity and a scalloped border for smooth sailing for life. Overall this design proclaims good luck of the Irish. HEXC2 LOVE AND ROMANCE This design is typical of the older geometric designs. Petal rosette forms the center. The rosette is a basic “good luck” symbol of the Pennsylvania Dutch. Red and multicolor hearts are placed between the rosette’s petals. The rosette ensures good luck and success in love and romance. The hearts, carefully placed in a closed circle, provide endless enchantment and happiness. A decorative, boarder of triangles completes the design, for smooth sailing in life. A life filled with love and romance for all. Different craftsmen vary the colors and quantity of the rosette's petals and hearts, as they portray their interpretation. HEXC6 SINGLE DISTELFINK The Distelfink legend began with the goldfinch. The goldfinch helped rid the farmers field of thistles. The Pennsylvania Dutch farmer called if the "Thistlefinch" and due to his German accent it sounded like "Distelfink". The bird eliminated the thistle weed from his field therefore bringing him good luck and good fortune. HEXC8 AMISH CARRIAGE HORSE These horses played a major role in early farm life. It is not surprising that the horse was one of symbols selected to ensure protection for farm animals and pets. It helped protect the animals against disease and lighting. This design protects farm animals and pets. HEXC22 DADDY OF ALL HEX SIGNS The design features a large, multicolor twelve-petal rosette. The rosette is another of the traditional good luck symbols of the Pennsylvania Dutch. A good luck petal is provided for each month to give good luck all year. A smaller twelve-petal rosette forms the center, these petals provide a little added good luck during difficult periods in any month. The outer border is chust to make it nice.
