Description: This Jet Kit is for the YAMAHA XVS1100 99-03 Stage 3 size #20 and #117.5 rear cylinder #120 front cylinder You only get Whats In Photo. This is not a complete jet kit. it is only the main and pilot as seen in last photo circled in red. This kits includes 2 one size over N224.103 type Pilot Jets #20 and 2 three size over N102.221 small round type Main Jets #117.5 rear cylinder #120 front cylinder. and two shim for each carburetor needle. Stage 3 is for motorcycles with stock or lightly modified engines with individual air intakes and baffled aftermarket exhaust system. Let me know if you need to substitute a different size jet. If needed I can send you some links on tuning the xvs1100 carburetor Jet kits are easy to install but you will need to have some basic carburetor tuning knowledge. refer to your shop manual for carburetor removal and installation. This is only jetting suggestions for your application. These are recommendations only, based upon testing at sea-level atmospheric pressure, a 65-80F degree ambient air temperature, on super unleaded pump fuel with a stock motor. There are too many variables outside of our control to give you an exact configuration that works perfectly under all conditions. Our recommendations are just that, a starting point to reference from. Higher elevations, high humidity, hotter temperatures are examples that will require leaner jetting. Colder temperatures are an example that will require richer jetting. If you are not knowledgeable or don’t feel comfortable tuning your machine yourself, find a mechanic in your area who is.
