The entries have been compiled into "A Directory of Chinese Contemporary Artists", "A Dictionary of Chinese Modern Artists", "A Who's Who in the Chinese Contemporary Art Circle", etc.王鲁恒,亦名如恒,别名天隐, 1948年出生于河北承德。中国美术家协会会员。1965年就读于中央美术学院附中。1973年任职于北京故宫博物院,从事艺术创作十六年。1989年移居美国。曾多次参加国内外艺展,两次在中国美术馆举办个展。其石雕及国画自1989~1994年由美国洛杉矶历史自然博物馆主办进行全美巡回展览。4件石雕作品于1993年被故宫收藏。著有《鲁恒诗词选》、《鲁恒诗聊》、《鲁恒诗配画》。辞条辑入《中国当代美术家人名录》、《中国现代美术家人名大辞典》、《中国当代艺术界名人录》等。微雕先驱--王鲁桓你信吗?今天爬上版面的这些“主角们”曾经在美国受到特殊的礼遇:巡回游荡于几大著名博物馆内;这个家族的有些成员,已经成了北京故宫、台湾故宫博物院的在册一族。昨天,这一哨“昆虫家族”又在中国美术馆亮相,以其俏丽的身姿向人们展示王鲁桓的“另类”艺术:俏色石雕。一点也不夸张地说,王鲁桓刻刀下的这些小动物,如果放在自然形态当中完全可以乱真。惟其如此,鬼斧神工的造化艺术愈加弥足珍贵,不仅是世界各大艺术馆竞相收藏的尤物,李可染、常任侠、黄永玉、林墉、王朝闻、范曾等艺术大家对于鲁桓的俏色石雕也备加推崇,趋之若鹜。日前,记者在北京内蒙古宾馆见到鲁桓夫妇的时候,多少还是有点诧异:夫人比他高出一头还多。后来问起来,他一点也不介意,直言相告:身高一米五六,体重也就是八十斤。难怪,美术圈里称他为“小个子艺术家”。要给这个“小个子”的艺术家归类还是件难事,因为诗书画印他无所不能,而且,玩得也很老到。据有人讲,他曾经自号“江北第一才子”。鲁桓祖籍河北承德,一岁时随父母到京,自小喜欢小动物,后被美院附中破格录取,数年之后,他被分配到了故宫。那以后的时间,他就住在故宫里面,那间不大的平房,据说是昔日宫中伶人们的住处。到那儿去过的人有过这样的描述:屋里没有任何标志现代文明的家什,却又充满无限生机。小鸟来回飞动,猫头鹰依旧闭着一只眼睛,松鼠也许会蹿到你肩头手臂,蜘蛛又在屋角织出新网,地上不时会跑过一只白色的耗子。顶棚也许会掉下土鳖来,小虫们在墙间自由歌唱,屋角静卧着沉默已久的老龟,墙上的斑点,那一定又是一只蜗牛……杂色的壁端高高悬挂着一块怪匾,那是一块有着疤结、带着树皮的原色木板,上面有三个写得不合规矩的怪字——五毒室。几张宫中古旧的大破桌子拼凑成一张画案,上面堆满诗笺、画稿、秃笔、杂石、砚……墙上随便挂些不无怪诞的书画,还有黄永玉以其精练传神而又富于幽默色彩的笔触勾勒的主人的肖像。这时,你也许才会悟到,鲁桓那瘦小平常的表象原来也似他的艺术一样赋予内涵以锋芒和强烈的个性,使人一眼难忘。十多年前鲁桓夫妇到了美国,在那儿,他有了一个条件理想的昆虫动物王国。在记者采访的大部分时间里,他都在谈论昆虫小动物的习性——感觉就像一个大孩子。至于说艺术家的张狂,真的没感觉到,一点儿也没有。他不时地让夫人添茶添水,并且不让妻子过多地介绍他的情况。谈了一阵,记者才对俏色石雕有了个皮毛的了解:俏色石即为两色或两种以上艳色的石头,主要出自内蒙古的巴林和浙江的昌化。雕刻创作时,强调随形,就着石头本色的艳色来构思和设计雕刻的对象。所以“一半天然一半功”之说是恰如其分的。据鲁桓讲,他曾雕刻了一组蝉变的作品,凡五件,从蝉蛹到成蝉,件件作品都曾费尽心血去寻找石料。当这组作品完成的时候,共计耗费了十年的时间。记者冒昧地问了句,那么你的每件作品价格应该不菲?“我很少出卖作品。”鲁桓说,“一个人一生多不过也就能刻两百来件……现在我刻了有一百五十多件。”后来他夫人插话说,鲁桓在美国可以卖自己的书法、绘画作品,但是极少把石雕出让给别人。“真的是舍不得,他的每件作品都是他养的小动物的对应写照。”当下,玩俏色石雕的人也不少,不过,鼻祖还是“小个子”。没有王鲁桓,可还没人知道俏色石雕这门艺术。美国洛杉矶、旧金山、丹佛等著名博物馆之所以给予鲁桓的“小动物”以特殊的礼遇,也在于这是一种凝聚心血的艺术。据称,尚没有一个华人艺术家能够在这些大博物馆进行巡回个展。奇人王鲁桓王鲁桓是个奇人。虽然从外表看,个头不高身体瘦弱,和你交谈时,神态平淡甚至略显木讷;但你在深入了解他之后,就会发现他是个毅力坚忍潜质非凡的人,他的令世人惊叹的石雕杰作,已经达到与不少名闻遐迩的艺术大师比肩的水平。1948年,王鲁桓生于河北承德,不久随父母迁居北京。6岁时他曾在景山少年宫学画,常常带上纸笔到动物园写生,那凶猛的虎、笨拙的熊、顽皮的猴子、绚丽的孔雀……给他的童年增添了不少欢乐。1965年,鲁桓考入中央美院附中。“文革”中他拜在肖劳先生门下,学习作诗填词,常年没有中断。日子再苦再难,他没有丢弃笔墨、虚掷年华。1973年,鲁桓被分配到故宫书画组工作,绘制图表、抄录说明、临摹修复古画。业余时间鲁桓作诗、画画、治印,并搜罗石材创作石雕。以往治印的人,常在印钮上搞些龙凤等生肖造型,但鲁桓并不喜欢这些千篇一律程式化的装饰,决心独辟蹊径搞些与众不同的东西。他发觉,青蛙、蜗牛、壁虎等小动物和甲壳类昆虫,可能是为了便于在大自然中藏匿,身躯的颜色、质感和不少石头近似。于是,在野外寻觅、到地摊淘换、进市场购买石头成了他的最大爱好。爱才的院长许里发现了鲁桓在诗书画印方面的才气和矢志不渝的勤奋,恩准他不必每天坐班,说:“古代孟尝君有食客三千,今故宫如此之大,岂不能养鲁桓一人?”在单位分给他的位于乾隆花园墙后的平房小院中,鲁桓豢养了老鹰、乌龟、青蛙、各类昆虫,还有五步蛇、竹叶青、眼镜蛇、腹蛇、响尾蛇等毒蛇。在住室的门楣上,他用带有树皮的板材,制作了一块“五毒室”的匾额。为了熟悉这些小生命的神态,鲁桓常常一边喂食,一边屏气静心地看上半天。鲁桓说:“搞动物的绘画或石雕,都要具备一个‘情’字,这不是一般只感兴趣的‘情’,而是对大自然有特殊敏感和深挚热爱的‘情’,爱得越深,搞创作时表现得也越深。”鲁桓在他的大量对联书法和五言、七言绝句中,显示了深湛的文学修养、独特的观察能力和冷峻诙谐的艺术个性。如“几弯剩水如蜗篆,一线遥山比草低”“半天幕雨斜牵柳,一夜西风乱剪荷”。不少作品,凝炼而生动地表达了自己的人生观:“只为销魂亲笔砚,不因适俗卖丹青。”“何必诗材远处搜?盎里虫啾,瓶里鱼游,相亲与我似朋俦。名也无求,利也无求。”“安排在天意,万物适其间。人浊聚尘市,蛇清隐乱山。”以蛇喻己,抒发了不趋炎附势,坚守高洁品格的精神。在王鲁桓的系列艺术作品中,最让世人惊叹的当属俏色石雕了。俏色石雕在创作之前,先要选石,即从表皮或剖面的色泽、纹理走势,力求准确地揣测出适合创作什么作品并在如何施艺中巧用其色。有了定夺后粗坯拉荒,然后是显露雏形,再就是巧施绝技、精雕细刻了。造型的创意以及一刀一凿的技法微妙处理,就可看出作为艺术家的鲁桓和仅有技艺的匠师的分野了。鲁桓心目中和雕刀下的蛙、鳖、蛇、蝎等小动物,躯体和衬石颜色截然不同,头尾、四肢色泽变化的和谐自然,常常让人不可思议。“这是一整块石头吗?”,“难道上面没有染色吗?”当然,这些询问是多余的。不时出现在梦幻里、天天铭刻在心目中的鲁桓的爱物,其千姿百态早已烂熟于心,真可谓“胸有成虫”,怎能不纤毫毕现、栩栩如生!鲁桓用过的石材,有内蒙古的巴林石、浙江的鸡血石、安徽的灵壁石、广西的彩陶石,无论晶莹的、斑驳的、温润的、粗粝的,他都能让虫的神与石的魂水乳交融。鲁桓含辛茹苦创作的诗词、绘画、印章,尤其是令人称绝的俏色石雕,李可染先生认为是“空前的独创”,王朝闻先生撰文说“是神奇的艺术”,黄永玉观看其作品后题字“不二”,称赞他的作品“卓然不群”。1989年,王鲁桓、安路夫妇应洛杉矶自然历史博物馆邀请,赴美展出石雕及画作,引起轰动。1993年,北京故宫博物院举行隆重仪式,收藏了王鲁桓的树蛙、蜗牛、瓢虫、烙铁头蛇4件珍品。这也是北京故宫破天荒的第一次收藏在世石雕艺术家的作品。1996年10月,台北故宫博物院院长秦孝仪赴美主持“中华瑰宝展”,在一个艺术界聚会中,他见到了王鲁桓的石雕作品,十分惊喜,当场邀请其赴台展出。2000年4月,王鲁桓的石雕及书画作品共9件,正式入藏于台北故宫博物院。每当鲁桓作品受到国外观众和媒体的盛赞时,他都会说:“花在他乡艳,根从故土培。”艺术家王鲁桓艺术家王鲁桓,于1989年旅居美国旧金山湾区。他独特的雕虫艺术闻名中外,至今他是唯一在北京、台北两地故宫博物院展出石雕作品的艺术家;也是两故宫博物院将其石雕包括书画作品正式收藏的艺术家。鲁桓的石雕艺术作品自1989年开始,已在美国洛杉矶、旧金山、丹佛等著名博物馆不断巡回展出,深受观众赞赏。别树一帜的石雕,将两栖爬虫表现得栩栩如生,许多行家撰文赞扬他的作品“巧夺天工”。鲁桓出生于书香世家,从小就对艺术酷爱,特别喜欢动物,并写生动物。1965年考入北京中央美术学院附中,毕业后在北京故宫博物院从事艺术创作16年。恰好他的宿舍在乾隆花园后面,为了观察小动物,鲁桓和他妻子安路饲养了许多爬虫、昆虫及8条“待得神姿留画本”的五步蛇、竹叶青、眼镜蛇、蝮蛇等毒蛇。时时观察它们的动态、习惯,慢慢对它们产生了爱心和感情。鲁桓形容蛇态:“从外形看,它只有一条线,能屈能伸,姿态百出,盘如花石,行同流水……”蛇的特性,对鲁桓作画用线、写字运笔,都起了潜移默化的作用。安路感叹地说:“故宫生活,为我们提供了很好的安静创作环境,故宫的藏画可看、可临摹,又可查阅历史资料……这些为鲁桓‘雕虫’艺术发展起了一定的作用。”“雕虫”的独到之处,就是利用石料天然的颜色,专雕两栖爬虫类和甲壳虫动物,因为这些小动物的颜色、质感和石头十分相似,可以说“一半天成一半功”。“雕虫”的石头是由内蒙古巴林及浙江省等地精心采选,由于石头本色各有不同,分布在石头上的杂色也有不同,如何选石、定题构思出自己的创作来,这就是鲁桓“雕虫”的神奇之处。石头的本色和杂色的利用恰到好处,真是妙不可言。鲁桓是诗、书、画、印、雕全能的艺术家。他带着在美创作的数十件新作,于7月21日至29日在北京中国美术馆向国人展示。展览中有一幅书法作品,表达出他对故土的眷恋心情:“花在他乡艳,根从故土培。”-Shipping & Paymentwith a tracking number .we ship the items to the address where registered on ebay.*please make the payment within 3 days.
