Better known for his sculptural and modelled works, this sgraffito decorated vase is a real departure. Featuring 5 separate and individual panels of highly exotic floral displays against a pale ground. The body of the vase is cobalt blue with treacle brown geometric block decoration. Stands 11" tall x 5" dia. Stamped Doulton Lambeth cog mark with date 1882. Incised WP 799 mark, with assistants as shown.
