Of baluster form, the vase features a heavily tubelined and brightly coloured panel of exotic birds in amongst foliage, flowers and berries to the upper portion. While the base area and rim are more muted in a sandy glaze, which contrasts nicely. Stands 13 1/2" tall x 5" dia. Stamped Royal Doulton Lambeth Lion mark. Incised HS 1499 mark, with assistant MF as shown. A fabulous, seldom seen vase presented for sale in excellent condition free from damage or repair. A fabulous addition to your collection!
