Description: A Murder is Announced by Agatha Christie. Published by Collins in 1950. This is a first edition, first printing. The book is in very good condition for its age. Boards are bumped at edges and corners. Spine tips bumped and pushed. Minor wear on cloth, most notable at edges and spine tips. Exposed edges of text block dusty and soiled. Ffep has small splatter mark at top edge. Rear pastedown has small “10” stamp at lower corner. Pages may be a little age-toned and have a minor blemish here and there but otherwise appear to be pretty clean. The dust jacket is in good only condition for its age. It is not price-clipped. Extensive wear and chipping at edges, spine edges, and fold flap creases. Otherwise, jacket is worn, rubbed, scratched, has tears, creases, is chipped, soiled, etc. Now wrapped in a Brodart jacket protector to protect from further damage.
