The vase is attributed to Mark Marshall by Richard Dennis-Catalogue of an Exhibition of Doulton Stoneware and Terracotta 1870-1925, Part 1. London: Richard Dennis 1971, no. 541 for a vase in this shape and pattern. There noted as after a design by Mark V. Marshall and dating to circa 1922.
