Description: For sale today we have this superb stoneware vase by George Tinworth for Doulton Lambeth. A striking piece, this vase features a well executed version of Tinworth's "scrolling seaweed" to the base, deeply incised and adorned with applied rosettes and beadwork borders. While the conical top section is glazed with a bluey green, with further beadwork to the rim. Stands at 8 1/2" tall x 5 1/2" across. Stamped Doulton Lambeth mark with the date 1878. Incised GT mark to the body, with assistants as shown. A wonderful vase presented for sale in excellent condition, no damage and no repair. A great addition to your collection!
