Description: A 12" wide by 9" tall color print of what Harvard looked like in 1828 printed by I.B. Fischer Company in the 1950's. Harvard was founded in 1636 and is the oldest college in The United States. It was established by a grant of The General Court of The Massachusetts Bay Colony and named in honor of John Harvard who bequeathed one half of his estate to the college and was the schools first benefactor. The print includes five buildings: Holden Chapel, Stoughton Hall, Hollis Hall, Harvard Hall, University Hall, and Massachusetts Hall. The print is in great condition and is ready to frame.
