Description: Comedy Icon Adam Sandler emerged from the cast of Saturday Night Live in the early 1990's to become one of America's most significant Hollywood superstars. Sandler was an unknown when he joined the Saturday Night Live cast in 1990 and slowly and steadily rose to top billing among the likes of Chris Rock, David Spade and of course the truly Iconic Chris Farley. While Sandler signatures are not considered rare, this item certainly is. Sandler has signed here a 1992 Star Pics Saturday Night Live Trading Card depicting perhaps his most iconic sketch ever. “Schmitt's Gay Beer" aired on SNL in 1991 and ignited not only the careers of Sandler and Farley, but images that would be born again as popular memes decades later. A parody of Budwesier's "Ladies Night" ad campaign of the late 1980's, this sketch has lived on beyond Farley's tragic death and Sandler's exit from the show and into Hollywood success. The only known of its kind, this Sandler autograph has been authenticated by JSA and encapsulated in a custom slab and label by HGA. Authentication is represented by JSA sticker on back and inside slab, as well as corresponding Certification card provided by JSA.
