Description: This antique butter dish by A.H. Heisey is a beautiful addition to any collection. The pattern is called plain band or sawtooth band (pattern #1225). The pattern was introduced in 1897 by AH Heisley & Co of Newark, OH (USA). It features tiny zipper-like bands around the dome and base surrounded by glass dots along the edge of the base. It's is crystal clear with no damage, quite amaing given the age! The base measures 4.75" across. With the dome in place, it measures 4.5" tall. Check out the photos.
