Description: Air Song is the debut album by the improvisational collective Air featuring Henry Threadgill, Steve McCall, and Fred Hopkins performing four of Threadgill's compositions. The album was originally released on the Japanese Why Not label in 1975 and this is the U.S. pressing on India Navigation from 1982 - a rare find! The vinyl is in Excellent shape, very clean copy; replaced with a vinyl inner sleeve. The cover overall looks great, a few minor creases (see photos) and a discoloration stain that honestly looks sort of beautiful and so nicely matches with the strip of brown running along the shoulder line in the photos that I thought it was part of the album art at first! A Very Good (VG+) sleeve. Will pack it up properly for shipping.
