Description: Unlike previous issues, the Algeria 20 Dinar banknote issued in 1983 comes with entirely Arabic texts rather than with French. This particular banknote is in uncirculated condition. On its obverse, a large jug or vase can be found. Metal handcrafts as well as a portico are also displayed. The reverse of the note depicts a man with a shield, riding on a horse. Centered on the reverse is a tower found in Beri Hammad fort and on the right part is an ancient writing. Security features of this note include military commander Abd al-Qadir pattern watermark and signatures of Hamid and Nouioua. The banknote is 130 x 61 mm in size.
