Description: Offered here is this Amazing Antique Beaded Handbag. It needs some TLC and has some of the beaded fringe at the bottom that is missing. The handbag is otherwise in good condition. I am unsure of its actual age, but it is very old, and I would date it to the early 20th Century, or possibly older. It has a pressed tin molded frame top, with a hinged lid that opens to have a small mirror on the inside of the lid. The mirror has a small crack in the edge, but it is otherwise in good condition, as is the top and majority of the beadwork on the bag. There is a light amount of surface rust on the chain at the top of the bag. The bag is 7.5” long including the fringe, 5.5” wide, and the molded top is 5” long and 3” wide. This is an interesting, beautiful very old collectible handbag in need of some small repairs and could be a one-of-a-kind addition to your antique handbag collection.
