Description: Amazing Antique Silver Plate & Sterling 5-Arm Sewing Chatelaine This particular chatelaine is not fancy, it is simple and primitive. It would have been used everyday by a working woman. It must have been much cherished and respected because it is in very good condition for its age with all the tools in place. I believe it is a combination of sterling and some silver plate. Measurements- 15 1/2" long from the top of the silver disk to the end of the scissors. The top disk is 2 1/4" long by 1 1/4" wide. It has 5 tools on chains. Tools include thimble, pin cushion, scissors, needle holder and a round tool of some sort. Weight is 124.5 grams. Condition is in very good antique condition for its age, signs of wear.
