Of the volumes, volume I shows the most wear. Hard creases in several areas of the books. Tanned textblocks and spots to the foreedge. Aside from previous owner's name on the front endpapers, there does not appear to be any writing. There are a few pages with periodic tanning or smudges from paper bookmarkers being left between pages. Volume VII has several pages (233-240) that are bent and folded at the bottom corner. Overall, this bookset is in Very Good condition.
