Description: A charming American Primitive or Folk Art hand painted watercolor depicting a classic Cape Code style house with a woman in period clothing standing in the front garden. It is signed "W. A. Tilton" and dated "Jan. 1907". Might well be an architect's sample painting. The image measures 9 x 13 inches and the full sheet measures 11 1/4 x 15 1/4 inches. It is painted on heavy watercolor stock that has toned with age and it has a couple of foxed spots, otherwise it is in excellent condition.
