There are 11 models in our range, starting from 4m, right up to 80m. They are designed to operate on the phone portion of the Band, Bandwidth and VSWR. The VSWR may vary according to the mounting location. VSWR at resonance should be 1.5:1 or less when properly matched. The Whip is Field Tunable for lowest VSWR Double Locked with Stainless Steel grub screws. If you require a greater bandwidth, an ATU may be required. Heavy gauge Copper wire is used in the construction of the resonator, and is wound onto a fibreglass mast, and finished in Sleek Black. The fittings are of Brass construction and the 1.2m (4ft) long Stainless Steel Whip that fits into the resonator ensures that the Antenna works extremely well. FAQ's These are some of the most common questions we get asked by our customers: How do I protect my antenna from the elements? We always recommend protecting any exposed areas of your antennas, such as the UNUN box, with tape or another waterproof material. The sea air and extreme cold will over time have a detrimental affect on exposed areas. Do I need an ATU for my antenna? Many of our antennas will perform much better with the use of an ATU. We do have antennas that will need an ATU such as the X-80, HF-360 and HF-360XP. Please contact us if you are unsure if your antenna choice will require one. How do I mount my antenna? Vertical Antennas: Work best when mounted on a short metal pole at ground level. You can mount 10 - 20 feet up but the higher you mount, the further away the antenna moves from it's natural earth. CB Mobile Antennas: Our Stinger antennas will require a mount depending on how you wish to mount it. Still need technical advice?
