Description: This is for a 17-1/2" silk corded necklace with a 5" sterling silver extension chain giving you up to 22-1/2". The pendant is a sterling silver 3D woven ball (resembling a rubber band ball) that's roughly 1-1/4" across, a little larger than a half dollar coin. The necklace features a hand-crafted hook closure made of solid sterling silver. The closure is stamped AC Studio on one half and 925 THAILAND on the other. AC is for Angela Cummings, a very well-respected designer in the jewelry world. She studied jewelry design in Europe and in 1967 she graduated in West Germany with a degree in goldsmithing and gemology. A year later, she's in New York working and designing, primarily in 18k gold, for Tiffany. After becoming "famous" through Tiffany, Angela started her own boutique, along with her husband, bearing her name in 1984. To make her designs more affordable for everyone, she started using sterling silver and more affordable gemstones. While still designing for Tiffany, Angela Cummings continued to open more boutiques in stores such as Saks Fifth Avenue, Bloomingdale's, Neiman Marcus, and Bergdorf Goodman (her first). This necklace is in very good preowned condition and sold AS-IS. The silk cord is very clean (no staining), no issues found.
