It suspends the tube above the main PCB on soft foam, and connects the tube to the main PCB using a very thin flexible circuit.The nutube tends to be very microphonic - if you tap it, it "sings" for a period of time. Vibration on the PCB, like flipping a switch, also transmits through to the tube. This is intended to help minimize that behavior. This auction is for one flex circuit and two foam pieces, as shown in the the first photo.
