Description: Antique 16th Century Ming Dynasty Chinese Ginger Jar Blue White Glaze Stoneware. In exceptional condition, the jar depicts a mountain scene in rural China in the 16th century. Two rudimentary pinched handles adorn each side of the jar and the base exhibits at 3-footed pedastal. Extensive craquelure across the glazing of the jar. The jar stands 8" tall and is 5" in diameter. Very rare and exciting piece of 16th century history! Condition is antique pre-owned. Please see photos for condition.
