Description: * Sold "AS-IS"; Damage to the frame; Some water damage to back edge * For sale is an antique, 1713, framed canal tax document from Venice, Italy! This shows signs of moderate wear and some damage from previous use, age, and storage/display. There is some loss and damage to the corners of the frame seen (some is small amounts of damage while one corner has lost most of the framing). There is some water damage to the back right edge, it does not appear to have touched the document or any visible matting. The adhesive used to keep the document in place has soaked in a little bit to the document itself (pictured). Some holes, small rips/tears, and other imperfection and/or damage is noted to the document. The backing has some wear and damage as well. The lower right corner of the backing has been mostly ripped off, we will make our best attempt to keep this corner intact during shipping. Some loss to the corners of the backing is also present. Again, this is sold strictly "AS-IS" due to damage noted and pictured.
