Description: Wonderful antique cast iron bell circa 1875-1890 made by P. WALL COMPANY ALLEGHENY CITY (PITTSBURGH) PA. Believed to be a trolley or railroad bell or possibly even a boxing bell. Incredibly loud, gonging ring sure to snap anyone to attention. NOW! The only damage to this antique cast iron bell appear to be the obvious scratches on the front surface and even they are not very deep and could probably be restored fairly routinely. Overall, a fantastic and very rare, antique bell and piece of American history in incredible condition. To be treasured and (hopefully) passed down for several generations to come!
