Description: For sale is a nice Antique 18TH Century blacksmith Hand Wrought Iron long handled fireplace ladle. It features a nicely made rattail hanging hook and a riveted connection between the handle and the bowl. The bowl is nice and deep in perfect form. Very primitive look. The entire piece shines with beautiful antique metal patina. It measures approximately 18” long. The bowl is about 5” in diameter. It has very minimal rust and straight when looked from the sideline. There is a small crack at the bottom of the bowl but very tight. Hardly noticeable. Age appropriate surface wears and oxidation is to be expected. Please check all photos for detailed condition before committing to buy. Overall, a great display piece for fireplace & hearth/ wrought iron antiquity/ Early Americana collectors.
