Description: 7 1/4” tall 18th century tin hogscraper push-up candlestick. It still has its finger holder at the top of the candle socket. Some times these holders were used to hang on the backslats of an early ladderback chair while reading at night and some of these were made by the Shakers. This is fresh from a local estate here in New Hampshire!
