This sample size advertising litho tin is both exquisite and lovely in both detailing and its Art Deco look. Made by the Colgate & Co. Perfumers New York . Circa 1920's. Measures 2 1/4" tall and 1 1/4" wide. Gilt brass swivel lid opens and closes nicely to dispense powder. Still has some of its contents but not sure how much. Feels in weight about half full. Stylish art nouveau peacock art design. In great condition for age. Reverse side of tin with wording has faded some but is still discernible. It reads: "For infants and the toilet, invaluable for chafing,pricklyheat,irritations, sunburn,etc. Used in leading hospitals. Both the powder & the exquisite perfume are antiseptic."
