Description: Antique 19th C English Flow Blue Ironstone Teapot The blue is deep and ultra flowy... there is no discoloration to the glaze. 8" high, 9" from handle to spout Marked with a "z" The teapot itself is in good condition considering its age, with no cracks or repairs, and no crazing. There are fleabite chips along the rim of the spout, a small fleck in the upper portion of the spout and another along the side, a larger chip where the handle meets the body. There also two flecks along the thumb rest. On the inside of the handle there is a slight separation up the spine for about 1/4" that is not a crack but a firing fault. The lid has not fared as well. It has a sizeable chip and has lost its finial. Overall, striking piece!
