Antique 19th Century German Painting on Porcelain Plaque Depicting Ruth

Description: This has been in my husband's family (German descent) for generations. It's been in storage for quite some time and deserves a second chance. I gave it a gentle wipe-down with a dry chamois, but I did not attempt to remove the porcelain plaque to fully clean it. It could definitely use a more thorough cleaning, but I'll leave that up to you. I can also tell the gold gilt ornate wooden frame has been repaired in at least two places. The porcelain plaque is about 2.75" x 3.25" and in the frame it measures about 6" wide by 7.75" tall.
