Description: RARE and utterly beautiful antique 19th-century handwoven dresser mat with hexagonal shape in corn silk gold interwoven with indigo blue and with slightly raised, tightly wound floral centers. Incredible find from an Adirondack farmhouse - everything I sourced from this estate is wonderful (see my other listings). Extremely scarce - this is only the second one I have found in over 35 years of digging in the Adirondacks. Measures roughly 19" by 19". In excellent overall condition, free of holes or stains.
