Description: Antique ABP Brilliant Period Cut Glass & Gorham Sterling Top Claret Jug 11". It measures 11" high, 7" across spout and handle at widest, and 4 1/2" across base. The cutting is exceptional. Possibly Hawkes or Hoare, both used Gorham for sterling mounts. The cutting on the handle is amazing and very fine. It does have a condition issue, there is a crack coming down from the top where handle is, and goes about 1" down below upper handle attatchment area, then goes right for about 2 or 3" then stops. Both attatchment areas of handle are there, no handle detatchment, the crack went around the upper. No other cracks or damage, it really doesnt stand out due to the brilliance of the cutting. There are a few tiny dents to the silver top.
