Description: Antique Alfred Meakin Ironstone Coffee Pot Morning Glory Pattern- Aesthetic. This is a gorgeous Royal Ironstone coffee pot made in Tunstall, England by potter Alfred Meakin. It is a beautiful pattern called Morning Glory. It’s flowers, bugs and birds are part of an Aesthetic Movement that was taking place at the time. The potters mark dates this piece to pre 1897, after 1897 LTD was added to the mark. This is a lovely old coffee pot and there are some imperfections. There is some age related crazing and some spots of discoloration. Some of the gold trim has worn away. There is a tiny chip on the top handle. Please see photos to view condition.
