The glass portions screw off the bases for easy cleaning and storage. The bases could be used as tapered candle holders with this functionality. The weighted sterling silver bases do need polishing and cleaned up nicely with a cloth on the test portions. The glass has slight scrapes in a few spots and no chips, cracks, or fleabites. One of the two dishes has an original Amston sticker on the bottom marked "Special non-break construction sterling silver. Amston Silver Co." These are an easy way to elevate your home, office, and next gathering! Condition: The glass has a few light scratches from gentle wear. The galss is free of chips, cracks, and fleabites. The silver needs cleaning and is tarnished. There are a few small dings in the silver on the bottom edges of the dishes. Nothing too noticeable.
