Book itself is in overall good condition with clothbacked bookbinder's tape reinforcements around the spine at the exterior as well as at a few front and back gutters inside. Exterior of the book shows some fading, toning, soiling and rubbing to the outer corner edges of the boards. Front endpaper, title page and adjacent page show waterstaining with no damage to the first map. Some maps show very minor, small and extremely marginal soil that stays in the blank margins and does not effect the maps. Book's binding is firm and the book is complete with all pages and plates present and none detached or missing. Book totals 12 full leaf color map plates and 27 pages of index text. Book weighs about 2 1/2 pounds and measures approximately 14 5/8 x 9 3/4 x 1/2 inches.
