This nice old railroad style cuckoo clock is in good condition, inside and out, making it a fairly rare and very desirable clock to own. It was manufactured by the American Cuckoo Clock Co. in the early 1900's. Since then it has seen a few changes/repairs. The bellows and hands have been replaced, as well as some older restoration work. It has a few age cracks in the wood and some handling marks from being moved around over the years, but, all in all, it is a great looking antique clock that still works The original movement has been ultrasonically cleaned and is in good running order. It keeps fairly good time and cuckoos properly. It's old, and somewhat complicated, so it may need a liitle attention now and again, but these old cuckoos are a lot of fun to have. It also has a really nice original bulls eye pendulum. The overall measurements are approximately 21½" from the bottom finials to the tip of the top leaf (not including the weights and pendulum) and 13" at the widest. If a clock is sold as "in running condition," it means that we have test run it before listing it and feel confident that it will run for you.
