Description: Antique Brown Glazed Hunting Scene George and the Dragon Heavy Pitcher 9” Tall. Ornate tropical design with a man hunting a lion or other large cat. On the other side is George and the Dragon. Another scene shows a monkey being chased by a snake. The handle is segmented like a dragonfly tail. Heavy brown glaze with several glazing voids from manufacture. One chip on the bottom. I tried to find the manufacturer but did not find any comparable pieces. Scarce at least from the standpoint of finding others. No cracks. A great decorative antique pitcher. See photos for details and measurements.
