Description: Antique Cast Iron Skillet- Gate Marked-3Foot Black Spider Pot Pan Camp-No.6-9"1/ Length 16" Magnets stick to it(just saying) Appox. Sits at 3"1/2 and 2"1/2(almost) ""COME AND GET IT"" This Very Heavy Large Unique Skillet has provided a great number of HEARTY MEALS-it should probably win an award. The Gate Mark is before 1875- from there it dates back to 1780-1820. Id safety say 1860 or before. I HOPE the pictures I took show the conditions marking the pot pan skillet. I feel as far as the pitting , thats to be expected for its age. This is One Of the Greatest Outdoor Open Fire Camp Skillets I've ever come across..Used in Forts no dought, before I got my hands on it. ITS VERY PRIMITIVE, the tear drop opening on the handle is all jagged, and so are around the footed spider legs..like it was made so fast..it cooled down, then just went right into Action, before it was detailed.I'm sure it WORK IT'S WAY ALL ACROSS THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. Was used every day untill about 30 yrs ago..it NEEDS A NEW HOME...A FOREVER HOME. I'm selling 1 cast iron skillet Thank you for reading my listing
