Description: Beautifully preserved quack medical device sold by J.H. Bunnell & Company, 20 Park Place, New York. Used to practice Electropathic Medicine in the early 1900s. This is the Number 4 D.D. Home Medical Apparatus. Two compartments: the top one for the accessories and the bottom contains the battery holder and electrical controls. Top compartment has accessories. Box is constructed of 5/16" thick solid cherry and sides were assembled using a splined meter joint for strength and appearance. Box measures 8 3/4" long x 5 1/4 deep x 4 1/2" tall.
