Large oversized body, lined in black satin with pocket & padded in between, leather or possibly "leatherette" fat corded handle & piping around body edge. Goldtone metal kiss closure frame. It's beautiful. Possibly Victorian but more likely Edwardian / WW1 / Titanic Era given the fabric & style with that fabulous large body. Oversized connector rings at the handle. I have had very similar watercolor silk satin in Victorian garments so not discounting that time period, pls. use your own antique purse knowledge on age. Silk is in beautiful condition. Very minor wear to silk & piping along the sides, a couple very tiny spots of silk wear on bag face-hard to notice. Inside black silk satin lining is also in beautiful condition & appears to be unused really. I think this bag was a drawer treasure, rarely used. It is wrinkled a bit from being folded in storage but that can be steamed out which I leave to the new owner to do once it is out of a package. Frame finish has light age related finish wear, minimal. Clasp works great. Measures approx. 12-1/2" top to bottom x 12" wide, handle has a 7" drop. Body of purse is flat, no gusset.
