Description: You are bidding on an Antique fishing rod & reel combo in good condition. The rod is a very short/thick clear fiberglass worm rod with cork handle. The reel is a Peen Peerless no. 9 with a worm eye feeder guide for line. The rod says "Power packed worm rod". It measures approx 42" long and has a very stiff shaft. Often called a peer rod or great lakes style. The eyelets are in good shape, there is some old line wound on the reel spool. I'm not sure about the quality. The rod has some light corrosion on the handle metal and the cork has a few spots of wear. It has no breaks or cracks. It may require some fresh lubrication befroe use. It would be nice for use again or it would look great as a decoration in your den or lodge. Please look at all the photos before bidding and feel free to ask me any questions you may have. These are in used condition and have some scuffs and scratches but no major damage.
