Description: Offered is a beautiful antique French faience plate with the back stamp of Digion and Sarreguemines. This plate was produced between 1880-1930 according to the makersmark. It features Napoleon on horseback in war with his men. The rim is adorned with flags and the Napoleonic eagle in a frame and medallions of N suround the plate. Very lovely and a great example of early french faience. It measures 7.75 inches in diameter. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or repairs.
