Description: I lowered the current auction price $100. Up for Auction is an Antique German Belsnickle Santa Riding a German Paper Mache Brown Flocked Bear with Two Composition Brown Flocked Cubs. The Santa is of German origin but unmarked, the Large Bear has a sticker on the bottom of the foot and one Cub has a sticker on the bottom of the foot and the other has residue where a label once was. The Santa and Bear together are approx 6" tall and with the cubs with them all are approx 11" long. The Santa is approx 4-1/2" tall from hood tip to his black composition boots and holds a paper branch in one hand. The Santa has wire legs and painted face with leather beard and mustache. Santa has wear to composition black boots. The Bear is approx 6-1/4" long and approx 3-1/2' tall where the hump is on center of back. The Bear has amber glass or plastic eyes and painted open mouth with brown harness. The Large Bear has an old repair on the left back leg. The Cubs are approx 2-1/2" long and approx 1-1/4" tall with painted features. The white mica snow covered sled is marked Germany on the bottom with some wear on top slat. Shipping to US only $11.75.
