Description: Antique Griswold American 7" Reversible Steel Spindle Pat'd July 20, 1915. Steel and cast iron. Antique condition with patina and surface rust, no visible breaks or repairs. Major surface losses from being outside so it is hard to tell. This cast iron flue damper was a part of wood burning stove, to adjust the air flow to control the fire. It measures approximately 7" long and 3 5/8 inches wide. Weights approximate 7 oz
