It is marked, but cannot make out the makers name. I think it maybe be Foster. When I got it there was black cloth tape on the third of the handle near the blade. I took it off to see the handle underneath, and cleaned off most of the residue. I found out it was wrapped because part of the metal could damage hands, but the handle is solidly attached. If you want to rewrap it, it was the type of grip tape on hockey sticks. May need some sharpening. Please view pictures.
