Description: This fabulous pair of sterling silver master salt cellars is by Jacobi & Jenkins, a Baltimore silversmith in the late 1800s. These hard-to-find salt cellars have a gorgeous rose repousse design and are footed. They are marked on the bottom JACOBI & JENKINS COMPANY BALTIMORE and STERLING FINE SILVER. Each salt cellar measures approximately 2.25" tall and 2.25" in diameter across the top. Together, they weigh a total of 183 grams. They are rough and have heavy tarnish on the interior. Overall, very good condition for their age. Simply beautiful when displayed.
