Description: Hello! Up for sale is this antique baby doll MADE IN GERMANY by JD KESTNER.Numbered 257 and 24.She has a bisque head and a 5 piece jointed composition body. The head is on tight, but arms and legs feel a little loose. She comes with her original hair, but unfortunately her clothing is no longer with her. She has sleepy eyes that still work and there is still a tiny bit of the original eyelash hair left. She has cute baby teeth. There is some damage to her fingers and toes. Please examine the listing photos. She measures just a little over 9" Provenance: This doll bequeathed to my Mother when she was a child in the 1950s. It was from an elderly neighbours doll collection and she believes the doll was already vintage or antique when she received it. This was in Victoria BC, Canada. From non-smoker home.
