Description: Up for auction is a very handsome Antique spelter statue of I believe Kroeber Barbarian (numbered 1127) , please notice the beautiful detail of this wonderful statue. 9.5 inches tall, 9 inches long. Weighing in at 3 pounds 8 ounces. A fellow EBAYER said that it was probably a Kroeber Clock Company, so I bought the reference book and could not find it, but then I did a search on the internet and found an old ad with the same exact statue and number which identified it as an Antique Kroeber Clock Topper Statue Barbarian Warrior on Horseback with an Axe for sale, (see picture 13) it also said that it was from 1890's and manufactured in the United States. Axe is not original. Tab on Barbarian which has a screw hole to fasten down to the horse is very fragile, needs to be reinforced. The starting price on this statue reflects the need for reinforcing.
