Description: Up for bid is this antique octagonal picture frame, a stunning piece of work, featuring a gold and black painted design with the flair of the Art Deco era! It measures 12 x 18 inches and will hold a 9-3/4 x 16 inch picture with the corners trimmed. It's an original piece, most likely created in the 1920's or 1930's. Even the monochrome photo with splashes of red, showing a boy & baby in a wagon, could b date back to the p when professional color photography was rising in popularity and when, in 1935, Kodachrome film became readily available to ameuter photographers. Considering it's age, the frame is in great condition with minor knicks and chips here and there. Please, see photos for these details! Part of the paper backing has been removed and new hanging hardware attached, as well as two felt pads at the back bottom of the frame. Again, details can be seen in the photos.
