Description: Antique Chinese Canton carved etui or needle / bodkin case holder. It has detailed carved design with birds, butterflies and dragons. Whilst one end cap is of similar design, it doesn’t screw onto the main shaft, so doesn’t appear to be a true match, and sold as such – a shaft with one end cap, plus an associated cap. The matching shaft and cap measure approx. 11cm in length assembled. In good overall condition, though there is some chipping and loss to the screw threads and one end of the shaft, plus some discolouration to the material. D150.24 60
