Description: Antique Pink & White Nine Patch Farmhouse Quilt Hand Quilted 71"x74" This is a wonderful antique Farmhouse style quilt I came across recently. This is a transition quilt, with the nine patch squares being done around turn of the century with shirting fabrics. The quilt was then completed during the 1930's with this bubblegum pink light weight fabric. This quilt is very light weight. It could be placed at the bottom of a full size bed, but is a single bed size if you want it to drape over the sides. The quilt has been hand quilted at a consistant 6 s.p.i. Overall condition is good considering its about 100 years old. It's been given a fresh gentle was and dryed flat. I do see some light staining, a little binding wear overall and some blow outs to some of the squares, some of which I pictured. I counted 3 but there could be a few more. I also see some shifting of the thin batting. You can see this when you hold it up to the light. This would make a great wall hanging or drape over your table as a tablecloth!
