Description: Antique Primitive Dazey Style Hand Butter Churn with Wood Paddle, Metal Frame and Metal Body. Offering this Antique Early 1900s Primitive Wood and Metal Butter Churn with Removable Top Doors with Original Porcelain Knobs. The only markings are on the gears with 106 and 906. The driveshaft coupling lifts off the wooden paddle to remove the metal churn box. There have been some modifications that have been made that I have not changed- the crank arm pin has been replaced with a wound wire, and an O-ring has been installed on the back of the crank bolt. All wear is consistent with the age of this fabulous antique simple machine. This piece is intended for display only and not intended for use.
